Welcome to 530 Insurance! My name is Craig Winton. I’ve been an insurance agent in Redding, California since 2008. I graduated from West Valley high school and have lived in Shasta County ever since. My wife and I are high school sweet hearts and currently have two children. I have ample customer service experience because I’ve been working in customer service jobs since the late 90’s. I’ve always really enjoyed helping customers but I wanted to be able to do it in a more fulfilling capacity so when a friend told me about the opportunity become a State Farm agent I was very interested. I loved the idea of getting more involved in my community and being a business owner. I opened the doors to my agency in 2008 and the rest is history. If you want someone who cares and is going to be there on your worst days, I am your guy.
Aside from meeting people through my agency I am passionate about staying involved locally. I’ve coached youth sports in both Cottonwood and Redding. I am a member of the Redding Chamber of Commerce and a founding member of the original Business Network International group in Redding. My office also participates in toys for tots every holiday season. A little about me; I am a classic car enthusiast and always excited to meet other enthusiasts. We also spend a lot of time in the outdoors either backpacking, hiking or on our boat on Shasta Lake.
My agency is in sunny Shasta County, we share a wall with Giff’s Ugly Burger. I have two awesome team members with over 30 years combined insurance experience and a cute rescue dog named Ruger.
